  • How it works (In a nutshell)

  • I review the hotel plans, room layouts & operating policies in terms of equipment needs.
  • Then prepare the lists of equipment (OS&E)for the Client to review.
  • Alternatively I review the lists provided by the operator,and then prepare the final lists
  • Tender to the agreed suppliers and negotiate the best deals.
  • Organise samples of the main products for the Client and operator to review.
  • I provide the Client with a Purchase Recommendation for them to place the purchase order.
  • Client appoints the Freight forwarder.
  • The Clients Team imports and receives the goods.

  • Supplier payments-advance and pre shipment.
  • Logistics, tracking, deliveries and installation.
  • Importation and customs clearance.
  • Arranging local temporary offsite warehouse facilities.
  • Receipt of goods into local warehouse.
  • Monitoring any claims on damaged items upon delivery to site or warehouse.
  • Supervision site deliveries from local warehouse to hotel.
  • Ensuring deliveries stored in a safe location.
  • Coordination movement of goods from store to rooms. Hotel to provide support staff to move and place goods.

  • The selection of suppliers & products is normally through competitive tendering ensuring best quality and value for money.
  • Local projects' needs, terms and conditions are met, including delivery & installation dates.
  • Prequalified suppliers are agreed with Client (normally 2 or 3 per main bid package).
  • The Clients and or Operator's own suppliers may also included in the tender process
